Can anyone help? I have just purchased a new build house. The house is on a slope with a retaining wall in my garden, the retaining wall has weep holes that drain directly into my garden. Is this correct? Should they not be running into a drain?

That's how they should be,at the base of the wall.

Would this not cause an issue with my garden flooding? Or is there very little water coming from the weep holes?

Usually no more than a dribble.

Very little water usually,if any, they drain off any excess water that dosen't soak away naturally, otherwise it build up behind wall, with a risk of pushing it out.
