Is there anything i need to know/or course i should do?

I suggest a refresher on the 16th edition and go on a C&G 2391 course.

Sounds like the firm your working for can only work in industrial and comercial properties or do non notifiable work in domestic properties. If their not a member of a scheme provider they're breaking the law if they don't notify.
As your working for them, it should'nt affect you but I would be carefull how you tread if I were you
