What mortar mix (and ratios) should I use when replacing a ridge tile on a house roof?
Also when re-pointing all of them, what mix should I use?
I have been told to use sharp sand, and then somebody else said 50% sharp and 50% building sand.
Please help and tell me the ratio to mix too.

    Many thanks

As per an ealier link you could just use gripfill to replace the tile and motar to re-point generaly soft sand is used.
