My daughter has just had a new tile roof installed to replace a leaking slate roof.

There is current a lot of condensation inside the roof on the membrane and I suspect this wasn't replaced when the new roof was fitted. The floor area below the roof was insulated

The membrane does not go down to the bottom of the roof.

The facia board outside doesn't go up to the roof. There have been pigeons in the roof previously and they could still get in.

Should the membrane have been replaced - and if so with what?

Should the facia go up to the roof?

Is it reasonable to expect there to be no condensation on the inside of the membrane.
