    Hello.

I got an airconditioning unit installed that requires more power than the armoured cable already in place can provide. The installer wants a new 2.5amp cable however the old one was run when we were getting the flooring done. Is there a way to run a new cable from inside of the house without removing the flooring?

    Do you mean 2.5mm?
    What's in now 1.5mm?

It'll be hard to advise a cable route without being there.

Unless it can be discreetly clipped outside

If you’re replacing the existing cable, could it be used as a draw wire ? I mean tying the new cable to one end of the existing and pulling it through. Difficult with SWA and (probably) impossible if it’s clipped. Talk to your installer.

Depends on various things like the depth of the void under the floor, what may be in the way, distance, wall construction... as in Ind's reply.
