I have an old crushed end pipe sticking out the kitchen floor.
Is it safe to cut this flush with the floor?
I think it’s an old radiator pipe

    Regards

    Cheers

  4. Do you have an adjustable wrench? If so set them on the sharp ends of the pipe end and uncrush it slowly. If you can see in to the pipe - without being soaked or gassed - it's empty...

I’ll give that a go before cutting it off.

If it was capped would it be soldered off?

Some used to crush end and solder to seal. You can see its sealed with solder but that pipe doesn't look like its sealed off with solder
