    Hi,

I have just bought a length of oak that has just been milled. I want it for a small window sill in the bathroom. How best to sand it to make it looks it's best? I have a random orbital sander? Also how best to treat it? It is going into a bathroom so needs to be protected from moisture.

    Thanks in advance

    Dan

Finish sand the oak along the grain ending up with 150 - 180 grit, tac rag off the dust and apply 3 coats of Osmo Top Oil (satin or gloss) for a fantastic finish you will be proud of.

Follow the instructions for a perfect finish, it's not difficult to do.
