Screed slab???

Hi,

i am doing a single storey side infill extension behind an attached garage. I originally was told to put down 4 inch of concrete slab in the new extension area dpc layer 4 inch pir board and then screed yo finish floor level, as I am pinching a bit of space off the garage I need to screed the current garage slab anyway.

this might sound stupid but is it feasible to do away with the concrete in the extension and go straight to dpc and screed on top? Any advice is appreciated

All the information for your project should be on the drawings - if you are working without drawings you are working blind.

No might about it, BCO is going to want to see the floor slab makeup.
