    Hi all

A couple of questions for you.
I am plastering a small bed room about 8x8 ft.
Instead of using standard powered plaster,
I am trying to use the ready mixed plaster from
Screwfix, because it will save me the mixing plaster
with water time and effort, although it seems more
expensive than the standard powdered plaster.

Is this a good idea? Is the end product
going to be same as from the standard powered
    plaster?

And when PVA is applied to the wall before plastering,
what is the drying time (or time to wait before start
    plastering)?

Does it need PVA after 1st coating, and just before
2nd coating? Or maybe it doesn't need PVA? I am not sure.
    Thanks

Think you will struggle with it. More like joint compound and will take some sanding back when dry.

Makegood quick dry read mixed is better or there are some roll on wall smoothers.

As for pva (powder plaster) you skim when its sticky after 10 mins drying off a bit but could be longer.

Ready mixed. A good blade and sander hooked to vacuum will work for you
