    Hi guys,

How do I fix my tap?

I tried plumber putty and aquarium sealant and they are not strong enough :(

You remove it and put a rubber washer between the base of the tap and the basin surface, then put it back and tighten it up. You need to keep it centralised while tightening it. Look at "split click" washers.

  3. Looking at the condition of the tap I would replace it if u are going to the effort of taking it out. The new one will come with all the washers u will need, u may need a monobloc spanner to tighten it up properly.

Some have a rubber O-ring recessed in the base of the tap, best remove it if using a rubber washer.

Oh right, I thought I could fix it with caulk/sealant :D
Many thanks for your input, I'll look into replacement options.
