Got a gas cooker and the edges around the cooker gets dirt trapped.
What type of sealant should I use? Sanitary? Heat resistant?

I’m looking for a clean one
  2. I’m not sure you should be using anything on a flueless gas appliance that is against manufacturers instructions. Is it not possible to clean the cooker?

it’s tricky and gap quite big for dirt to get trapped in

If you are referring to a free standing appliance then can you close down the gap with aluminium worktop trim? Intumescent sealer could be another option and could be cut through if appliance needs removal

Or does the OP mean a gas hob perhaps ?

I wondered too. Starting replying as though a hob and then thought maybe not. Definitely more clarification needed
