Any suggestions on what to use to sealing joint in bathroom, kitchen and vinyl flooring so it is as water tight as possible? any tips on how to do the job well?

  2. If u mean around the edges of the bath and flooring etc, then white sanitary silicone is what u would use, obviously depending on the colour of the suite u may choose a different colour silicone but white is standard. You can buy specialist tools to give u a neat job and u will need a silicone gun. Don’t use cheaper silicone it’s a false economy., and be warned it’s an easy enough job but also easy to make it look very messy if u make a mistake.

1: cut nozzle at 45 degree angle
2: Ensure all areas are bone dry and clean
3: apply silicone, ensuring there are no gaps. Any gaps then when u spray in the next step, the water will get behind and silicone won’t stick)
4: using a spray bottle, spray with soapy water.
    5: Tool off.
    6: Leave to cure.

I would recommend maybe searching on YouTube for some how to videos if u are attempting this yourself.
