    Hi all,

I need to level the concrete pad in my new workshop. I am after a levelling compound that I can use as a finished floor that offers value for money.

    Any ideas please?

Need to look at a epoxy resin screed, you need a industrial screed, normal leveling compound isn't a wearing surface.

    CGN Screwfix Select

When SLC is first poured, I think it looks great. Shame it doesn't dry 'wet'.

How big is workshop, & how rough is the concrete.

32sqm, the pad has been ground smooth but there are a couple of low spots.

    Useful link.:)

Level it HD top, wonder is it possible to precolour it before pumping, same with Level IT Top, would save you painting floor if, you could colour it during mixing.:)

Self levelling compound doesn't self level.

Yes you can change the colour to any thing you like but it all comes down to cost.
We install flow ts15 in garages and workshops everywhere. It isn't classed as a wearing screed but it's hard as rocks!
For a workshop you cannot beat a 2 part epoxy paint finish use Sika 2540 it looks quality for the price.

I took a look at the 2540 and see that it is a Matt finish, do you do something similar with a high gloss finish? also I noticed that the pack size would be overkill for the area that I have (under 50 SqMtrs) and need to split the area into sections, due to having to move stuff around so therefore may need smaller pack sizes. Would this be possible? or can you advise of something more suitable?
