    Hi all

I am living in a new build coach house semi detached garage, the garage walls are strong and is not much cold inside except in the freezing winter.
    The outside are all bricks.

Looking to convert into a living place possible a bathroom (maybe)
Is 25 mm of Celotex is enough for the walls???
    Thanks

    No 25mm won’t be sufficient.

How much mm would you think is better?

Standard for an existing wall is a bit lower than new. 55 Celotex 25 battens should do you. Check the Celotex web site: they have a useful calculator.

Best to agree all this with BC before you start as some do have some odd ideas.

We’ve been down this thread before. As I said work out the the construction of your existing garage and then the insulation you need to achieve the desired u value according to part L of building regs. Asking the question on here is not going to change this.
If you want to do the conversion without building control then slap in whatever you want and don’t bother asking here
