Do you have to give a name when making a purchase form Screwfix stores? I Popped in for a tube of silicone which, when it came to paying, was asked for my name. I said politely, I'd prefer not to give a name and the counter person was bit 'off'': a bit of a 'computer says no' type. I must have your name for the receipt they said. After a few words I walked out and bought the silicone from Wickes (practically next door).
I used to be like that when I worked for the secret service, but no one cares about my silicone buying habits these days.
I can't see the problem, if you go to trade counter pretty much everywhere they want a name...if not they will add about 1000% on the price just for the fun.
