Yes I believe you are correct Chippie....the end of democracy is a matter of months away!
I think you are being sarcy
We have no trade negotiators because we haven't had to negotiate a treaty for 40 years, the EU has appointed a French bulldog who hates Britain, only negotiates in French and has been doing it all his life. How do you see that going?
For Europe, he will demand so much that we will just say adios, and set up much better deal with then other 6.5 Billion peeps around the rest of the big wide world, watching the EU crumble under its own greed.
Have I missed any. ?????
You missed the boat, mate...
Supply Europe and you load your goods on a lorry and it rolls through Europe without obstruction if you're in the EU. What happens if you're not.
Sod Europe - we've got the REST OF THE WUURRRLD, mate
Europe can kiss ma botty and stick their single market where the sun don't shine.
The rest of the world is gagging for us to trade with them. 'Cos we've got stuff they need like, um, steel, and uh Nissan cars! And bludy Hondas and Toyotas. The world will be well stuffed if they don;t get their Japanese cars! And we all know that there's only one place them's coming from! 'Cos we build them better than anyone.
And we've got, um, whisky and salmon and heather.
And and and - a great big financial centre in London which tells the rest of the world what to do with their money. That's staying put for sure, 'cos no-one else can do 'money' like we do
And and and we've got farm-a-soot-ikals, 'cos we're the best at research. All we need is more money to carry on doing this - which will come from somewhere, I'm sure.
We're good at planes too! We build all sorts for them. Like engines. All we need are the other parts and then we'll have whole planes!
Man, it's sooo going to be GREAT! Better than Drumph
Well, technically, once our lorries are on French soil, they have unfettered, borderless access to all EU countries. The problem at the moment, seems to be , getting them across those 21 miles of water between us and France. Due to the recent attacks in France, their border agents on this side of the channel, have to do increased security checks. (one would almost think that these terrorists were coming from the UK)
Hmmmm and what keeps these aircraft in the bloody air DA ? Ohh that would be the Rolls Royce jet engines (best in the world,, made here in Derby) Yep them aircraft manufacturers can just do without them,, can't they?
Spoken like a true local yokel that you obviously think all out-voters are as thick as.
Irony doesn't even begin to...
You really think all this economy and politics malarkey is simple, don't you? Even you could do it given the chance...?
The Scottish Nationalist Socialist Party have first dibs on all of those.
And the oil.
... and cheesy golfing attire.
and Tunnocks caramel wafers.
Not at all. It's a ****** headache. I bow to those that can handle it. But I don't bow to those that give it away or grab it all for themselves.
You have to ask yourself what is more important. To be happy or wealthy? The normal people in this country do not see any of this so called wealth from being in the EU anyway. On the BBC now the CEO of British Airways is complaining about due to Brexit the multi-million pound planes they want to buy have become a bit more expensive. Maybe only a £5m bonus for him this year then.... Tough times.
Only big business and politicians wanted us to stay within the EU and they both have their own selfish greed to feed.
Absolutely, nffc. The blue-collar workers of this (and other countries) are the ones being hit hardest by the recession. The recession they had nothing to do with. That was caused by others. Who are getting off Scot-free.
No wonder a large tract of the British electorate are severely pishedoff.
But. The sad irony is that these same people aren't informed enough to realise that the 'thing' they hit out at - the EU. Immigration. The 'Establishment' - was not the cause of their pain. They couldn't even see that the self-serving likes of Boris, Farage, Gove, - all who run in these financial circles - are the Establishment!
The electorate were led a merry chase against the 'Establishment' by the Establishment.
And the extent of the electorate's ignorance (I honestly don't mean that as an insult - I mean it as a statement of fact - they are not well-informed people; how can they be when they are fed barlocks and read the Sun) can be seen places like Sunderland where they are effectively employed because of the EU, and yet they wanted to kick the EU and 'take control'.
Those who wanted 'control' didn't even begin to understand what they were saying.
I understand they need to have a grasp of financial concepts like 0.1% being a 'large' percentage, for a start.
Crash and burn coming fast.
Good job we're out of it.
But we are still in it (for at least the next two years)
