Where do you settle all these people? The country is already at breaking point with the amount of foreigners who have swept in.
The nhs is a mess. Totally over burdened. Been seeing it first hand lately.

Never guilty of over-egging t'pudding, Wry...

Breaking point? Really? Nah.

NHS a mess? Really? Nah.

That's not to say that the NHS doesn't need a serious commitment to extra and continuous cash, but a mess? Don't be silly.

Perish the thought that'd you'd ever come on here and say something even-handed & balanced.

So wrong as usual with your assumptions, confirmed atheist, human beings are of great interest and concern to me particularly the ones in this country and I think it's you who in no way reflects what a decent Brit is people like you would ruin this country forever. As much as I admire amnesty international if we opened the doors and ferried migrants in by the million it would still find a reason to complain.

As hollow as all your comments.

I suspect the majority on here have the true measure of you.

On the contrary I suspect they have the measure of you.

Proby........never a truer word...
You and a few other will understand:

I hope sense prevails and the we vote to stay in.

The thought of returning to the dark days of immoderately curved bananas sends a chill down the spine.
And cucumbers i have to grow my own now just to get them bent the way i like them.

I suspect there are many in the UK who regard the Battle of Britain...as a group of British zenophobes, racists, bigots with flying licences who disliked those nice people from mainland Europe popping over to see how we were all doing.

Taking of Romans, this exactly how I see the EU as it now stands, running rough shot over the whole of Europe taking control of every country it comes across.

But guess what, the Roman empire just disappeared into thin air, faded into the oblivion, was no more.

De ja vous anyone. !!!!!!!!!!!

As much as the Battle of Britain (or the war effort(s) in general) was a magnificent, defining moment in the history of Great Britain, it is just that. History.

You cannot trade on history, Great Britain is no longer that great. The Empire is sadly gone.

We've now got a shares a struggling economic and overly complicated bureaucratic Union in it's place .

Is it worth throwing it under a bus?
Maybe. Probably a German bus though.

Goes back to the 70s, union ruled car production plants and cheap Japanese cars sadly now i can only name morgan as british.

It sure does.
It goes back to the 70's when the good folk running British industry believed that waving a Union Flag at the gates of Buckingham Palace on VE day was what made us unbeatable.
The "who won the bleedin' war anyway" brigade so beautifully parodied by Warren Mitchell if you like.

That's why Britain is not that great. That's why we have Morgan and Germany has VAG, Mercedes and BMW.

Disagree, Britain is great it's just down trodden and listens too much to people putting this great country down.

Britain is still great in many aspects and it's a helluva lot greater than a lot of European countries.

It's just not as great as it once was. Or as great as a lot of people think it is.
