Hi guys,
I've just fitted a Salamander shower pump. When testing it works very well on the cold but will not cut in at all on the hot.
I live in a bungalow with a gravity fed system. The hot water cylinder is in an airing cupboard and the pump is located in the loft above the shower.
I'm about 50% sure there might be an Essex Flange fitted but not sure. I have read a few bits about it possibly being something to do with the mixer tap on the shower not pulling enough to activate the pump and Salamanders books says a No Stop Essex Flange must be used if the pump is above the cylinder...???
Any help or previous experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
