I’d like some advice on a shower problem
Just had a rain head shower replaced with a rain head shower with diverter. Local plumber installed the valve, l did the shower head etc.
When shower turned on water dribbles out but the pump doesn’t kick in. Turning on the shower in the other bathroom (same pump) turns on both showers. If this is then turned off new shower runs fine till the next time !
    Any advice gratefully received.

Not enough flow in the new shower to kick the pump in. May need to change pump or new shower but check the obvious first such as crud in filters

As mentioned above, your new set up needs more flow to activate the pump flow switch.

Also check the water level in the cold water storage tank is at the fill level.

The valve plumber will know the tricks ;)

    Thanks Both

You got me thinking, so just tried turning it on with the valve set to cold.....success ! I then turned it up to temperature and all was well.

    Many Thanks
