Have you got a 1.5” solvent coupling to try on the spigot end of that flexi waste pipe? Or a mcalpine 1.5” compression coupling?
The 1.5” 40mm compression coupler I just tried is fine for the solvent weld with a reducer, but ever so slightly too big for the shower fitting, gets tight but doesn’t grip, can just pull it out is there a 38-39mm version?
You shouldn't need a reducer on the solvent weld pipe ,and the compression coupler should tighten just fine onto the 39 mm as well ?? Is the coupler a mcalpine ?
