    Hi all,
I've run my shower waste in between joists to outside, just to the side of soil pipe It comes out of the wall as exactly the same height as the toilet waste...can i just T off into the soil (into one of those 50mm recessed holes) using one of those rubber thingys, or do i need to enter the soil pipe below the toilet waste using a boss strap....thanks

  2. that will be fine
just make sure you have a good slope on your waste (common sense i know) also make sure trap on shower waste is 75mm seal (regs)

measure the internal diameter of the hole to ensure you get the right rubber bush, not all the holes are the same size. also use some lubricant to put the bush in and chamfer the pipe and lube that too, dont push the pipe into the soil pipe just the bush depth
