Does shower and sink water need to go through a macerator in an attic ensuite?

Is there a work round to avoid the blades/motor?

There's nothing to 'macerate' so can the water somehow bypass the noisy bit?

Our current macerator/plumbing for the ensuite means that the macerator motor is triggered around every 8/9 seconds during a shower ....arghhhhhhhh

The noise is the pump running.....it does that to remove the water from the macerator body.

Ah, ok....so the only way to avoid it is bypassing the macerator all together which is costly. Damn.

    Thank you :)
