Hi Guys, I bought the above Site TMN250T saw second hand. It worked very well for a fortnight, albeit noisy. But then when I next switched it on, when it reached full speed, the motor cut out? Seems an onboard chip and solenoid had blown? Any one know where I can get a replacement parts? The board is made by UANCHUNG TECH.Co.LTD 13600801A1-1(Taiwanese)? 940V-0 025 1 075-2010 There is an email printed on the board, but they never responded? Thank you Trevor
Finding any parts for any Chinese-made power tools is a virtual impossibility unless they're a current model with manufacturing outsourced to the Far East by a major brand. Site tools are mostly rebranded older budget Makita models, however. Maybe drop Makita a mail?
You can pick up a generic soft start board, or alternatively find a makita soft start module on ebay. An option while you wait is to bypass it, the saw will still work, itll just mkae you jump a bit when you start her up!
