Upstream! That's coming back at you at some point. Seriously - the waste isn't properly functional and by the looks of it the bath needs raising as Astra said straight off.
Thanks for the quick responses! not even sure I want him to try and rectify the problem. ****** off to say the least!
I wouldn't have him set foot in the house again, his work is terrible, dread to think what he would do to rectify the problem.
I haven't laughed so much since Goldenboy accused people of goading DA. If that soil pipe goes out through an external wall, the bath waste needs to go out through the same wall below the soil and connect at a lower point, if it's an internal soil in boxing, same applies (and I'm not a plumber). Shocking job.
Where is your stack pipe, the soil pipe running around bath does that go through a outside wall to stack, secondly which way are the joists running,or is it a concrete floor, hard to see on phone. Any chance you can do use a plan/sketch.
Could be a possibility of human waste products potentially finding there way into the bath with that set up, and I'm being serious!
Stack pipe outside is plastic, so why didn't he core drill a hole through wall & connect to stack pipe? Easy.
I’m a mechanical engineer by trade and really dissapointed people would even bother to try and get away with jobs like this? The guy seams really genuine and good reviews on my builder?
