I'm thinking of either this makita drill http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;jsessionid=DNBFH0XT2GNOOCSTHZPCFFA?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fhsearch=makita6096 or this bosch drill http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=75255 any comments on the reliability or quality of either ? The bosch seemss like a bargain and my last bosch has lasted nearly 10 years. Don't want anything physically bigger 'cos sometimes it needs to be compact to get inside cupboards and the like. Thanks for any advice.
Definately, said it before, bosch very high quality for price and near enough as much taulk and versitility as a makita, save yourself a oner and go for bosch.
From those two, the blue bosch in my opinion. Like you said, your last bosch has lasted ten years. My GSB14.4VE2 just won't die either (much as I'd love it to so I'd have an excuse to step into the Lithium-ion age !).
Think I've asked before on here but am still on the lookout for a 7.2 V battery for my Makita drill. It's old and I have tried a few sites but no luck . It's a sentimental favourite and a big miss. Here's hoping . Cheers !
