Smart Plugs for new Hive Hub installation

Hi, installing a new Hive thermostat with Hive hub and using the Hive app. If we wanted to add smart plugs, do we need to use the Hive active plugs, or are there any compatible smart plugs that work with the Hive Hub and app?

In answer to your question though, Hive do sockets, Hive is an ecosystem where they only want you to have Hive Products, get yourself a conbee II, a raspberry pi, go down the Home Assistant rabbit hole and we'll see you when you come up for air.
