    Just read it has 600mm thick walls, wonder what they are made up of? I can see it's brick clad, so may be 100 brick, 100 cavity and what, 335 insulation of some sort and then 50mm service bat and plasterboard?

    Only curious really!

    They are saying the fuel bills are £150 per house per year that's incredible

    That is for sure, but jeez if a wall is that thick and the roof/floor is the same, I aint surprised at all. I reckon the solar would be something to do with it too - just assuming they have solar. I know it uses those german passive house spec, but just wondering what the walls are made of eh?
