Soil pipe problem

Discussion in 'Plumbers' Talk' started by Fitting a toilet, Jul 31, 2021.

  1. Hiya fellas,

Had a it of water leaking in under the house and tracked it back to a soil pipe on outside of house. Having dug it out, clay pipe had cracked and cast pipe had corroded too and together had left a gap.

I've removed the cracked clay pipe leaving the plastic collar at the bottom (inner diameter 130mm ish) and the cast pipe but a gap in between. Anyone have any bright ideas on a product I can use to join the two please?

    TIA

Replace cast iron stack with plastic but be warned cast pipe is heavy so rope it to stop it from hurting you
