Spindle Moulders

    Hi anyone got any recomendations on spindle moulders around £1K want to use it for small runs of oak joinery doors and windows etc.

    For doors & windows which are usually 44mm finish you will need a machine that can take a 50mm high block or something like the Omas door/window sets so make sure the table recess and max tool dia are around 175-200mm and that the motor has the power to spin up a large steel tennoning block.

    Most of the smaller machines will not be upto it so you may have a job with a £1k budget.

    Come and have a look at this forum, search for spindles, the subject has come up quite a bit recently ref making doors/windows.
