Need to tile a steel stud wall but next year will be removing tiles from the other side. How should I Steven the wall to avoid disturbing this year' tiling next year?.
1 Second stud wall just inside first
2 stiffen existing wall with 2x2 and thicker plasterboard?
    3. double layer of plasterboard
    4 all of above?

    What is the view?

    They'll all work.

If you have space though, a 2nd stud wall tight to existing is the way to go and will potentially be flatter.

Another option would be to screw ply across the wall first, then screw PB to that.
