It doesn't cost anything like as much as that...

When you take into account the cost of the DISQ course(£750 + VAT) The cost of a tester (£600) The cost of your annual registration (£400) the cost of your assessment (£175) and the lost wages during this time (£1000) it actually comes nearer to 3 grand so can you please stand corrected?!

whats quite obvious is that sparks did need regulating as their standards were slapdash. but what we find laughable is that because some government numpty brings regulation you lot actually try to turn it to your advantage and try to make out you are more important

And the date of its introduction was.....?

And if its safer now, it must have been less safe then.

If you're going to use a safety argument to justify Part P, then you have to show that there was a genuine safety problem, of sufficient magnitude, prior to its introduction.

    I asked baxibob a question.

I did so in a civil manner, and without indulging in a personal attack on him.

Are you not capable of posting without doing the same?

So most people are lucky to have a House whether there a sparky or a numpty like you.

    ban all sheds

it is common knowledge that you pick on irrelevant little details that people make, usually by mistake.

has part p made electrical work in domestic dwellings safer?

    answer: yes

you do not have to provide any evidence to prove that. as you well know there was not a single bit of legislation governing elecrical work in houses before part p so isnt it obvious its made things safer as u now need to be registred. isnt that evidence????????

you knew exactly what the poster was getting at but u still make the comment and you do this all the time. why?

so other than wanting to call me a numpty, what was your point?
so you dont drive a beamer?? who cares!
so a 2 bed costs 200k? who cares!
most lucky to have a house? who cares!
are all the 263 posts youve made as insignificant as that?
