    Hello,

Here I am having a great time scraping 4 layers of wallpaper (with paint on top)! in our bedrooms before someone comes to re-skim.

It suddenly hit me that the property was built in the 30's/40's and some of this wallpaper will be very old.

I have no idea how to tell if a wall/wallpaper contains asbestos and was wondering if these pictures would shed any light?

There is no asbestos in wallpaper whenever, the paper you are stripping appears to be a Super Fresco type circa 1990- 2010

Amazing to hear. Thanks for your reply.

The plaster is damaged in places. Do I need to be concerned asbestos wise? https://imgur.com/a/z1mK8vl

No, not unless you are knocking about an asbestos sheet lined boiler cupboard, asbestos boiler flue, asbestos guttering, ripping up a lino floor covering etc but no worries with plaster on walls.
