    Hi all,

I've recently built an extension and want to put a stud wall in to divide the kitchen area from the utility room. The floor slab is down but not the screed yet. Do I need to wait for the screed (between 60 and 75mm) or can I build the stud wall and screed up to it? I assume I can fix it to the concrete with screws to prevent it moving about (concrete floor is 100mm thick)

    Wall on top I'd say.

If it is a bonded screed - the wall can go on top. If there is insulation under the screed then the wall must sit on the concrete.
