Subfloor joist. Does it need replacement?

    Hello Hazymat,

    Thanks for your kind advice. I have looked into temperature and humidity sensors and you can can get the temperature and humidity sensor in one device. I will be buying a device as you said to check the readings.

    I know the damp floor is producing moisture as some the electrical cables just off the ground are covered in condensation as are the bricks.

    Hello all,

    I have 5 plastic 9x3 air bricks which makes it 9x6 as they are joined on top of one another. They are more or less in line with the joists under subfloor and not underneath them as some said should be.i am still getting some ventilation however.

    Any ideas what if anything can be done?i have thought about a telescopic sleeve but they only accomodate one 9x3 air brick and not a double like mine is.

    I have taken some pics at different angles to give you an idea of the level and height of air vents.
