I'm about to connect up a cooker, but the Cooker Outlet Plate is going to need to be surface mounted as it's an old house with very solid walls.

All the 45A cooker outlet plates shown on the website here seem to have the 2 fascia screw holes lower down than half way - but all the surface mounted 47 mm back boxes I can find seem to have the screw holes dead on the centre line.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks Sparky Steve - that should do it.

What is it with those ones with the screw holes below the centre line ? What sort of box are they meant for ?

The holes circled red connect to the back box. Holes circled in yellow, are for the faceplate screws.
