    Don't be stupid.

But I would almost certainly be turfed out at the next election...

I am very pleased you agree with that, Heat, and said so. :)

Hey,,,, you suggested it in the first instance. ( banning selective education) If you were to be lucky enough to become an elected MP, you’d be the one that voted according to the party whip. You’d be incapable of voting with your conscience.

Your post about you believe selective education should be removed, is also how I see it.
Children could possibly spend their lives up to adult age with a “them and us” view of life and often with little if any contact with children who are of a different religion and perhaps tradition.
Many people have said their first proper contact with people of other religions or traditions was when they started employment or go to further education at early adulthood.

In Northern Ireland it has most certainly been a major cause of division and suspicion and ignorance of each side. Add to that if you have parents with a divisive mindset, the upbringing will be worse.

We wouldn’t separate adults in education due to their religious background, so why should religion be the reason for dividing children?
Religion should be for outside schools , (with the exception that children should be taught about the difference in all the main religions of the world.)

Heat won’t need em filly. There’ll be enough light from the cars burning in the street and enough warmth from them too. MP’s reckon so, so they must be telling the truth. ;);)

There is a big candle we can keep alight to add to our heat and power, -
It is the Kilroot power station in NI that has been supposed to be getting closed. :p

The BBC would need to make their stories more believable.

Now that statement is bordering on the 'deranged' line. It's still silly though due to the fact that you don't believe one word of it.
    You're just saying stuff, again.
    Silly stuff.

I do hope your 'silly' prediction comes to fruition nonetheless, as that would mean we [UK] export more after Brexit than we do now.
That is what you were saying isn't it?
The only other explanation that holds any water regarding your claim that " testing houses would be swamped with extra mandatory work" because we are leaving the, EU, is that you ignorantly believe that goods 'at the moment, or previously' didn't require any need for compliance testing whilst we were in the club.
You see, DA? Your silly little stricture has no place in fact, therefore you were either being a bit silly (you know you were telling fibs but didn't care) or you are deranged.
    Which is it?

    Or am I being "childish?

One of the most absurd - and harmful - labels a child can be given is "Oh, he's a Catholic...Muslim...Christian...Sikh..."

As if the poor little b's had a choice.

Just stick with the wood, chip's, you're good at that. And I like it.
Ditch the Corby hat and you might just get your tongue a few inches further into, DA'S rectum.
    It's certainly probable.

    It is no doubt ridiculous.
But the parents are not going to suddenly prevent this.
I really do not know how this practice can be stopped, unless it becomes government policy to ban all religious schools.

Dont forget DA thinks that by manufacturing goods to the customers standards, we lose sovereignty ( somehow) ;);)
