I’m surprised that people in Northern Ireland can sleep at night, knowing that DA ( or perhaps they are more bothered about things happening in NI ( just a complete guess you know ))

It may be, the largest community owned wind farm in the country (do they know that you're the largest producer of wind in the sff community.?), but your beloved ex-msp, is a deluded fellow that doesn't understand how the real world works. Wants everything for nothing, expects others to endure financial investment risks for his benefit, and can't quite understand why others, whom he holds back, don't share his view point. A typical 'Fabian Society' view, if ever there was one.
I agree, I does benefit the community.
They've achieved a great deal in setting it up through charitable donations and capitalist derived loans, hats off to em.
The problems arise when they want more.
    Nay, demand more.
    Expect more.
    Feel entitled, to more.
All at someone else's expense, of course.
That's funny. Primarily in the unbelievable context as I don't see his name on the list of donors in the charity's accounts.
Secondly, it's just 'funny'. I literally laughed out loud.
Only a dedicated europhile could spin such a crock-o-poo, and only a dedicated europhile would belive it.
You have my sympathy, if now't else.

Fracking per se ain't the issue?, then why on earth did you say it was man?, more to the point, why did you blame it on Trump?, that's beyond bizarre.

You've never been able to verify any claim you've made on this forum.

Are you saying that somebody who owns a house in France is not capable of speaking the truth, actually, you might have a point there.

And how many people did they say would die, or in fact, suffer any ill effects whatsoever, from eating chlorine washed chicken? I'll give you a clue, 0.

Why did I mention fracking? I mentioned it as one of many issues. And there are many - all with a common environmentally-damaging theme.

More to the point, why did you only mention fracking? That's because er...uh...um...

Am I an expert on this issue? No. That's why I cited a seemingly credible investigation carried out by HU scientists. I think that's at least worth a ***** of the ears?

What did you offer? Just your usual - cynicism.

At least you had a chuckle, Longsie.

Yeah, I did wonder whether I should mention that wee anecdote, quite personal as it is. It does happen to be completely true, tho'.

That guy is completely driven by doing what's best for his community; I doubt there's a single cell in your body that would entertain such a thought. In fact you seem content to damage the poorest communities just to satisfy the wee beastie in yer 'ead.

    How 'ronic.

I am gratified that your cesspit cynicism is dripping large for all to see.

The smell that must surround you...

There truly is two types of folk, and I'm so glad I'm nothing like you and your sidekicks.

Strange that when it came to the referendum, you only said it was all down to one issue,,,, racism. As opposed to many issues.

Can I assure you, IIR, |I would be extremely worried if any of the u-s on here - that's any of them - were to demonstrate a sign of altruistic humanity.

At the moment we know where we stand with you lot. We know what drives you. We know that what's best for the UK and beyond doesn't register.

It's all about the wee beastie.

The so-called "EU" has no place in Ireland. Brexit is in the interests of Ireland as well as the interests of Britain, and indeed it is in the interests of Europe and of the whole world.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying there, Ris.

I'm guessing that by your use of the expression "the so-called "EU"" that you are disparaging of it? In which case I'm afraid your comment is one of simplistic and gross ignorance.

You say the EU has 'no place in Ireland'? Eh? Ireland is in the EU and benefits from it as it should and abides by its rules. So what on earth are you saying? That you don't think it should have 'no place ' in Ireland?

Ie - you've just given us your opinion?

Cool, that's fine. Please make that clear so your posts are understandable; I thought you were trying to state a 'fact' for a moment.

I couldn't disagree more with your opinion. And that's fact.

Ireland does not benefit from the so-called "EU". The 26-Counties are a net contributor to the so-called "EU" - look at fishing rights etc. if you need any proof of that. They have also on two separate occasions been forced to rerun referenda in order to have the so-called "EU's" will imposed upon them - Nice 2 and Lisbon 2 (originally known as the EU Constitution).

The so-called "EU" can burn in hell.
