    Hello,

Does anyone have any experience/advice for treating a pebbledash wall?

The dashing on the rear of my house has cracks which are causing water to drip from top reveals of a couple of Windows. On inspection some are quite substantial ranging from 3mm to hairline. Horizontal as well.

I am planning on applying a tanking slurry over the dashing before painting over it.

A last resort as I have attempted to repair cracks but its a losing battle. And it looks ****.

Been holding off painting as I know it's a forever job afterwards.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jack

Waste of time painting it, probably blown in places, get the water behind it,a bit of frost & it will pop off.

Sadly true, time to hack it off and see what's going on underneath the pebble dash. :(

My son's and I have successfully clad a few pebble dash gable ends with upvc cladding. Batten and vapour barrier as appropriate if space allows.

    Worth considering.
