Having recently fitted a new s/s sink unit with monobloc tap, the complete tap has started to turn. The tap is secured underneath by a large horseshoe shaped compression washer, tightened by one locking nut, which cannot be tightened any further.
Anyone got any ideas on how to stop the tap body turning, short of supergluing the thing??

Iv'e found the most convenient way is to apply a little fernox LSX between the underside of the tap and the sink discardind any rubber washer/O ring that was there...make sure the surfaces are clean first.

You should have got a brass or steel waher (horseshoe shaped) and a rubber washer of the same ahape. Maybe the rubber one was missing??
