Started DIYing a bathroom basin in yesterday and the supplied 300mm tap tails don't quite reach the pipes . So I bought 2 isolators hoping that would bridge the gap and it does on one pipe, other pipe is little bit shorter!!

Obvious solution is buy a longer tail but can only find online for order. SF onky sell 300mm. Is there anything I can do in the now to help? Spotted some adaptors that may add 10mm or so which may do the trick?

Don't have tools or skills to add pipe via soldering...

    Thanks in advance

You could extend pipe with a compresion coupler and a short piece of pipe or even a pushfit coupler

Your still gonna need a few tools for either and some knowledge !

Your also gonna need a short piece of pipe .......

Maybe best to order longer tails online or try local plumbing merchants - 400mm available
  3. As Dave says.

For a newbie DIYer, buy longer tails - copper or flexi, whichever you are happier using.

If 'flexi', make them a decent brand.

Make sure you check the Tail to tap threads as they come in two sizes 8mm and 10mm
