(TARNISHED BRASS PLATES)

Yep ? you know what its like told the customer if you put them on while the plaster has not gone off properly they will (TARNISH) well they have! most off the switch plates have anyway the bottom half went off as it has been a week and a half now, anyway any body have any ideas what will remove (TARNISH) without me replacing them at the customers expense only i have suggested to her braso ect.

I have never seen a bare polished brass switch or socket. They are all lacquered. The damp has got under the lacquer and its just not worth disassembling, stripping the lacquer, polishing the brass and reassembling. Buy new ones
