Terms and Conditions Trade Apprentice 2021 - Free Prize Draw (DeWalt)

No purchase required, entry and participation is free. One entry per person per day during the entry period is permitted.

The prize draw is open during the Trade Apprentice 2021 event (the “Prize Draw”) from 00.01 11th February – 23.59 13th February 2021 (the “Promotional Period”).

To enter, fill out the entry form on the Trade Apprentice event page for UK (https://www.screwfix.com/landingpage/tradeapprentice/) for Ireland (https://www.screwfix.ie/landingpage/tradeapprentice/ )during the Promotional Period.

Winners will be selected at random by the Promotor (the “Winners”), within a week of the Promotional Period.

There are 40 prizes to be won and selected at random: 1x 6 piece kit, 5x charger and battery kits, 14x laser measuring tools, and 20x hand tool bundles (each are the “Prize”).

The Winners will be notified on or after 15th February 2021 to arrange collection or delivery of their Prize. If the Promotor cannot contact a winner or a winner does not collect their Prize by the 8th March 2021 then this may result in forfeiture of the Prize and the Promotor reserves the right to select an alternative winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The Prize Draw is open to all UK & Republic of Ireland residents aged 16 years old and over who are enrolled in a college or on an apprenticeship scheme. Entrants must be enrolled in a construction, a planning and building environment related course, a Business Services Industry (e.g. Electrical and Plumbing), or an Engineering/Mechanical related course. Employees of the Promotor, their immediate families and anyone professionally associated to the Prize Draw are not permitted to enter. No cash, gift card or credit alternative is available, and the Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable. If a Prize becomes unavailable, the Promotor reserves the right to substitute an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.

Late, illegible, offensive or incomplete entries will be disqualified, and the Promotor reserves the right (at their sole discretion) to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the operation of the Prize Draw, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promotor to be disruptive or in violation of the Terms and Conditions. The Promotor accepts no responsibility for lost, interrupted or unavailable network service or other connections or disqualified entries. The decision of the Promotor will be final and unchallengeable, and in their absolute discretion, they may declare void any entry or the Prize Draw itself.

The Promotor reserves the right to request consent from the Winners to participate in publicity events in relation to this Prize Draw which will involve a photography shoot (the “Material”). The Promoter may, with the Winners consent, publish the Winners first name and hometown or county, the Material in future editions of its publications, social media pages and its websites.

By entering in the Prize Draw, each Winner agrees to grants the Promotor and its affiliates a perpetual, royalty-free, exclusive, worldwide licence to publish and broadcast and otherwise use the Material in any media, including the unlimited right to sub-licence. Each participant further confirms that the publishing or broadcast of such material will not breach any third party’s intellectual property or associated rights.

To the full extent permissible by law, neither the Promotor nor their parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents shall be responsible or liable to compensate the Winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), or injuries of any kind whatsoever, as a result of taking up the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promotor, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Promotor reserves the right to withdraw the Prize Draw at any time if circumstances make this necessary. The decision of the Promotor is final and binding in all matters relating to this Prize Draw and will not enter any correspondence in relation to it.
The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Prize Draw and for no other purpose. Your personal details will at all times be kept in accordance with the Screwfix Privacy Policy available at www.screwfix.com. This Prize Draw is governed by English law.
