Can any one tell me what an elecrtician needs to get at to test electrics and give me a ticket for the BCO and regs ? IE: Can I insulate my roof (covering junction boxes) as insulation required know is very expensive, and the tests take place at CU, plug sockets, and light fixings, or does everything have to be inspected ? Im not trying to cut corners, just use time wisely in the cold weather conditions. Many Thanks The WOLF
If you use a niceic electrician he will not need to look at anything and will fill in the certs with LIM.
I will want them testing, to serious electric, Im happy fitting everything, but better safe than sorry.
First fix electrics will need to be inspected by the BCO before floors and ceiling go in. Junctions boxes should be accessible btw, even after the work is all finished.
