The reason that the Post Office is being advertised is this: Think back some years, when there were many adverts showing electricity pylons pulling up their roots and rampaging across the country. Now, why would anyone have to advertise electricity? I reckon 99.9998% of the population use the stuff and there are most likely only a few hermits up trees or in caves that don't. So why did it have to be advertised?? Because they were going to sell it off! And the same will transpire about the Post Office too. In a little while we'll see those old red postboxes pulling their roots up and then they'll be marching around the country too. TB liar and now McBroon have sold off most of everything else and now need some more of the Nation's silver to cash in on. A lot of delivery firms have already cashed into collecting mail from major institutions and then supply it to the Royal Mail for 'end of line' action. That's all that's left now plus a bit of Parcel Force! Quite a lot of Post Offices have already graduated into the back of Tesco and Woolworth shops, soon these will be run as franchises, just wait and see! Norm
Why would anyone want to buy the Post Office - counters that is, deliveries yes, counters no - on their way out.
