Hi, my old room thermostat has broken, and I’m struggling to rewire a new one in, the original was wired like this 5A903DB6-036E-4DFA-8B57-C3EA984999E9.jpeg The new one wires up like this

    Thanks

Yes brown goes to com, which is live.
Terminal number 3 goes to terminal NO
with the neutral wire which is grey put it in a terminal block if you have one and some tape round it and put it to one side its not needed in your new thermostat..
Dont forget to turn power off to boiler whilst you are doing the work..

Yes if there is room to put it if not just tuck it out of the way like it is now.. dont put it in with the neutral wire..

If there is a earth terminal with your new thermostat connect it to that if not just tuck it out the way..
