Strange how those who hold democracy to be our greatest right, were the first to complain when they didn't get the result they wanted. ;);)

Take away the pl, substitute a w and add er to the end,

  6. I do indeed hold democracy in the highest regard. Which is why it shouldn't be distorted with blatant lies.

Bull. If that was so, you would not have a bad word said about Brexiters.

Brexiters that were given the opportunity, and voted for out of EU, democratically.

You should be praising them all.

That's democracy, which you hold in the highest regard!

    Hypocrite.

    Mr. HandyAndy - Really

Which blatant lie are you on about? Is it the one that 52% does not represent a majority? Or the one where 48% represents a whine? :D :D :D :D

  10. If you don't wise up, Mr Ha & JJ, I will tell btiw2 on you.

    You'll be sorry.

    No....., DA.
You know that's not the case.
What does matter is the distance between who tells the joke and what it's about, and the circumstances in which it's said.
If he came out with that during a one-to-one interview it would indeed raise a few eyebrows.
In this instance there was an audience, with a host and a few other panellists.
    It's called banter.

The only thing blatant about your position is the sheer disregard for democracy if it doesn't go your way.
Can you point out some of these obvious lies that you're on about?

    Attend a 'momentum' rally.
That will truly reset you dials, Filly.

  17. I take it you'd be happy to have a second referendum, then - once the truth is out about what we're getting ourselves in to?

    No, I didn't think so.

    Yawn.

(As for patent lies, you know. Let's not AGAIN go to that dark place where Johnson and Banks reside, eh? Or do I take it you still honestly believe the campaigns of both sides were equally valid?! Lol...)

  18. Nice. To the point :).

The u-s are fabulous in their predictability.

I have said all along there's a correlation between 'types' of people and how they think and vote, despite all reason. To put it bluntly - some are devoid of reason; they act only on what's already inside their head (however unattractive that may be).

With Brexit, they expose their innate cynicism, hatred of 'others', bigotry. And worse. A desire to 'swagger', puff themselves up - at the expense of others.

With the thuggish farmer thread they - well - did the same. The 'swagger'. The innate hatred and cynicism of a 'type' of person. Without justification. In fact, against all the evidence presented - just as with Brexit. (Not all u-s in this case; IIR redeemed himself mightily).

And this thread has shown how the u-s - all rabid 'Leavers' of course - can add misogyny to their list of superlative qualities. You honestly could make this stuff up.

Again it's the innate suspicion of 'others' - in this case women. The suggestion they knew what they were doing. They could have stopped it. They make false claims. It's all their doing! And if you can't take a (very poor) joke on it, then it's YOUR fault.

Even Saville was mentioned on this thread - but only to criticise those girls/women who apparently made false claims. That's it - that's all the point this twit was making.

Once the silly u-s say enough, I just like to leave it there for all to see - fully exposed.

    In all its gruesomeness.

There you go, btiw2 - no graphs or charts.

Once the truth is out? Who's truth would that be? The merchants of doom?
I'll take that as a "no I can't think of any blatant lies told by the Leave side" shall I.?

  20. No, you can take it as dishonesty by yourself - and you are not kidding anyone.

The lies of the Leave campaign are legion - and established.

(And wait for more on this to come out - how 'Leave' was financed and driven by Bannon (Trump's right-hand man - and a loathsome individual who makes Arron Banks seem bedable), connections with whole murky 'Russia thing' (as Trump dismissively calls it) etc.

As always, it isn't the poisoned individuals with power we need to be wary of, it's the mindless fodder who bleat at their feet - FEED ME! FEED ME! OH PLEEEEEEZE FEED ME THESE BEAUTIFUL LIES! It makes me TINGLE inside...
