Hi I'm doing my bathroom myself and will soon need to choose a new toilet. Close coupled best I think like the old one. Just wondering if modern loos have a standard soil pipe connection height. I noticed in B&Q that some were low and others were up higher. The pipe is still in situ from the previous loo and is 115mm from the floor to the lower edge. A new top floor will go down so will raise the loo height a little. Any help appreciated.
If you have a look at a few WCs online you will usually see drawings which show the height to the midpoint of the outlet, then you can plan accordingly.
