Tool battery adapters

    I've used something similar to convert my Milwaukee nicad tools to run on Li-ion and one to use a Ryobi tool with Milwaukee batteries. I had originally made my own for the nicad conversion but these are more compact and it means I have a spare.

    The downside is that I suspect you lose some of the battery monitoring gubbins in the process so for that reason I never take the battery below 25% capacity. I don't know a) if I'm right though or b) whether that is adequate mitigation to prevent damaged batteries but so far so good.
