Toughest varnish remover out there?

What's the most potent varnish remover on the market today? I've got to remove varnish from some hardwood external cladding and revarnish. Sounds easy enough, but it's marine grade varnish which has been there a while, just revarnished over the top periodically. So it's thick any tough. Sanding's out because it's a series of overlapping planks, with each exposed surface not more than an inch wide.

I'd have trusted old nitromors, but apparently that's a waste of time now. Has to be commercially available so I could just buy some!

    Hiya,
yeah I think nitromors have removed all the powerful stuff.
Others will be along, although you could ask in your local painters and decorators merchants and then shop around for the price ;)
    cheers
