is it me or has screwfix peter retired, i always use to see him about on here, lately its got alot worse for porn and bad behaviour,
I am certainly no prude, i just think there is a time and place for a bit of banter amongst us trades, but when someone is after a bit of advise from us and they are insulted for there troubles,
i think who ever is supposed to be monitoring this site needs to pull there finger out,
on Saturday i tweeted our host to complain about the morons that seem to be on here,
also sent an email but no response, also reported a few threads , i cant imagine i was on my own there,
new members don't seem to have any monitoring of there posts or there ID pics,
I like it on here and it is a real shame the minority seem to take over,
Have i turned into victor Meldrew i hope not,

Screwfix Peter is so busy deleting topics in which a few posts go against 'the covid narrative' that he has no time left to deal with trolls.
  8. Which is why I'm not here any longer. Apparently I made 'argumentative posts' and my ban will end on 4th January 2022.

Well Screwfix, your forum has had over ten years of me offering free help to other people on here, so when my ban ends, you can delete my account. You're getting nothing more, and I'll be thinking very hard before your shops get any more of my business too.

    Merry Christmas!

I have returned after a ban - for what I don't know. A acquaintance was permanently banned too.

    Hiya Joe

I got banned on cookery forum. I was not happy about it at all as all i did was respond to a nasty poster in kind. However, I acknowledged to myself that I was at fault
as I responded in kind and should not have. They perma banned me as I disputed their decision. In hindsight, I was wrong as I was a 'guest' on their forum, their rules etc. TBH, I'm a better blogger since that one ban as I learn't from it and that is the trick

If I was banned here for posting after having a few glasses of wine, I would not stop using Screwfix as their prices are competition, shops are local and often goodhelpful/nice staff but not always but that goes for every business.

Btw, this site is really good as many helpful guys around.

One the hole, 10/10 for Screwfix shops and this site.

Merry Xmas & a very happy new year to you and those you care about.

There now appears to be a Facebook group for those who are banned to stay in touch with each other
